Star Rejects Anti-Vax Position After Voicing Controversial Covid Documentary

Liam Neeson has provided his vocal talents to a new documentary that questions the safety of immunizations and lauds former cabinet secretary the political figure.

The Feature's Provocative Foundation

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the film is inspired by a bestselling book written by a disgraced researcher, who rose to infamy during the global outbreak for allegations that Covid was caused by a problematic version of the influenza shot.

Her writing partner, the executive producer, has also written books with controversial figure the Infowars host. The producer recently posted praising Neeson's involvement in the film.

A Strong Denial

A spokesperson for Neeson have provided a response strongly denying suggestions that he holds anti-vax beliefs.

"Everyone can acknowledge that corruption can exist within the pharmaceutical industry, but that should never be conflated with rejection of vaccines," the comment reads. "Liam has never been, and remains not, against vaccines. His long work with the global charity reinforces his long-held support for worldwide vaccination initiatives."

The statement noted that the actor did not shape the film's messaging and that inquiries about its content ought to go to the producers.

Central Assertions Featured in the Documentary

In the film, the narration provided by Neeson includes several controversial points:

  • It suggests that pro-immunization voices have demanded "blind obedience" to government bodies.
  • It declares that "medical science has become deeply politicized."
  • RFK Jr is interviewed stating, "The major issue with vaccines is that they simply are not safely tested."
  • The film takes aim at stay-at-home orders, saying they caused psychological harm that resulted in thousands of lives.
  • Regarding pandemic shots, it mentions a perspective that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "hazardous tests."

Historical Context and Recent Debates

The documentary includes a 2004 BBC documentary about clinical trials on children, which was subsequently the focus of a correction by the corporation for violations of guidelines.

In recent weeks, the political figure instructed the national health agency to revise its long-held position that there is no link between immunizations and autism. This assertion is repeated in the film, contrary to a recent study from the World Health Organisation reiterating no evidence has been found.

A Past Record of Advocacy

Differing from the film's message, Neeson has previously expressed strong support for vaccines in his position as a charity ambassador.

Two years ago, he called vaccines as "a remarkable achievement," stating that "The debate about vaccines in the past few years has overlooked how much benefit they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest shared accomplishments in history."

"Plague of Corruption" ends with Neeson's voice stating, "This is not the finish of our journey. Rather, it is the beginning of a new chapter."
