Los Angeles witnessed citywide celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series championship. Fans worldwide joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area events featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Social media videos show countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
“My focus is already about the third time we’re going to do this,” Shohei Ohtani stated through an interpreter.
The procession path concluded at Dodger Stadium, where the players walked out to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ providing music and Ice Cube driving a Pacific blue vintage Cadillac around the stadium’s outfield.

Celebrations started prior to the procession, with supporters lighting fireworks in the roads of the city center on the previous evening.
The World Series MVP, named the MVP of the championship, spoke plainly about the victory.
