She initiates by providing details to the unauthorized memorandum authored by Michael Prescott and published in a national newspaper.

"I don't want the British Broadcasting Corporation tilting in any particular direction, I simply desire it neutral, unbiased and equitable," he says.

Upon being questioned if he believes the British Broadcasting Corporation is structurally prejudiced, Prescott answers: "Absolutely not. To be clear, numerous aspects the BBC creates is world class - including informative and non-factual content."

However, he continues: "There remains significant effort that requires attention at the British Broadcasting Corporation."

Another ex-adviser BBC specialist questioned by the committee, Caroline Daniel, says she regards the BBC extremely earnestly and that it maintains a "continuous process and active debate" on fluid and multifaceted topics.

"Did the BBC willing to engage in a genuine dialogue and argument and implement changes?" she asks herself. "In my view, yes they were."
