Event planners of the year's first Grand Slam have announced the $1 Million Single-Point Tournament, which will pair a dozen non-professionals against top-ranked players in a elimination competition at the tournament grounds

There will also be a entry tournament in December which everyday players, aspiring competitors, famous personalities and sport stars can enter

It starts on early January and the successful competitors will advance to the following day's 'grand finale' with the other eight amateurs and 10 professionals
